Mystery

There is much to explore in this region; its rich folk history and close knit communities, each village and town with their traditional Sagra (summer festivals), the majestic countryside and the drama occasionally provided by the weather, serve to create a region with atmosphere and an air of mystery.

This photograph was taken from Casa Bella Fonte and shows Porcia, the village on the other side of a steep gorge, being engulfed in a spooky rolling mist. Porcia has become an island isolated and cut off from the mainland by a mysterious and magical cloud. What dark secrets are shrouded in the mist?

Or it could just be a foggy night.
