Entertainment

As well as nightlife the coast is the place for the large supermarkets and general shopping. San Benedetto is 30 minutes or so from the villa and has a large and spectacular market on Tuesday and Friday mornings. San Benedetto is a good place for a day out with plenty of seaside entertainment, excellent seafood restaurants right on the beach, a working fishing harbour and a lively town center with italian designer outlets.

San Ben also boasts a well followed football team, an Italian league match is a visual spectacle and the crowd offer great entertainment even if the football isn't up to much.

Macherata hosts the world famous opera in the summer season - see our links page for this year's programme. Even if you are not an opera buff the theatre is well worth a visit as is the town itself.

Talking of theatres, Le Marche boasts a number of spectacular theatrical venues so even if the show is not to your taste you can always bask in the interior architecture.
