The overriding factor in choosing Casa bella Fonte was its location. Like they say you can change many things about a house but you cant change its location or in our case the views.

Whether breakfasting on the lawns, lunching on the terrace or sipping sundowners overlooking the landscape, the views from the villa are stunning.

Porcia, the village opposite on the other side of the gorge is wrapped around its hill neatly arranged as if just to be viewed from our vantage point. Porcia provides the focal point for a scene of Medieval hill top towns with their spires and towers dotting the landscape between the patchwork of fields in a myriad of shades of green and yellow. The dark azure Adriatic fills in the gaps between the hills, all this sitting beneath an Italian sky with clouds you can only find in Renaissance paintings.
