Explore

The gardens themselves are quite extensive and there are several paths to explore in and around the grounds. The local area also provides the opportunity to explore on foot as well as touring. It is a sort walk to the town of Montalto delle Marche which itself is well worth investigating, from here you can head off towards Montedinove a beautiful village perched spectacularly atop thepeak of a conical hill.

The walk takes you along a high ridge separating two valleys with magnificent and complementary views to each side. Deviate from the main road to explore a path past a dramatic church and down the side of the local cemetery through fields and woodland.

At Montedinove you climb to the the historic center of the village and its lovely and well proportioned piazza. There are other short walks possible from Montalto with plenty of interest both architectural and natural and we are more than happy to provide details, though of course it can be fun to explore for yourself.
